Stephen White is the host of As I Recall It. The idea came to him after listening to John Green’s Anthropocene Reviewed, who would occasionally infuse some of his own life experiences into each review. Stephen began thinking of his own personal experiences and what could be fun or thought provoking enough to put into a narrative essay. Eventually, a format was developed that worked, although a much larger idea involving other storytellers is the main goal.
